Macworld (UK) has just published the Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word reviews I wrote for them:
It’s an odd situation because Microsoft is still working on major features of Office 2016, so an up-to-the-minute review is actually quite useful. However, if you’re in a TL;DR situation, here’s the skinny: Word 2016 is terrific, and you should update to it right now, while Excel 2016 isn’t (yet) worth the upgrade and you should stick with the older Excel 2011.
- (And if you’re a serious Office user, why not make use of a 96% discount on the Internationally-Accredited Microsoft Office Course Library?)
