The Room and The Room 2 are to the video gaming world what Great Expectations or War and Peace are to the world of literature. Put simply, if you haven’t played them then you’re missing out not only on a supreme gaming experience but also on a cultural experience that really shows what the iPhone and iPad are capable of.

The Room Three arrived late last year and proved the BAFTA-award winning team at Fireproof Games still have the ability to produce an utterly compulsive puzzler.

And now it’s available for $1.99, down from $4.99. As usual there’s no indication how long this will last, so grab it while you can.
