The best DIY Apple Pencil accessories and fixes

Apple’s missing out on a lucrative market selling accessories for the Apple Pencil. Until they get their act together, users are making do with their own DIY efforts.
For example, Redditor iPhonedo has created what he calls the ultra-comfortable Apple Pencil Pro by adding a rubber grip from an old pen:

Meanwhile, Redditor Abublstein caught a glimpse of a scene since cut from the original keynote, showing Apple’s up-coming official Apple Pencil accessory – only $149 although stocks will be severely constrained at launch:
