Despite the fact it’s not yet on sale, gold-plating expert jeweller Goldgenie is already offering customized iPad Pros in gold, platinum and genuine Rose Gold custom backs.
They say:
Goldgenie’s luxury customised Apple iPad Pro is available in a choice of 24k Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum lustrous finishes and may be laser engraved with a name, symbol or motto of your choice. All iPads come with Total Armour Protection.
You’ll be getting the 128GB model, of course, and a choice of white or black fronts, while the device comes in a genuine mahogany box complete with luxury accessories. They even throw in free shipping.
And the price?
- Gold: $2,791 (£1,855.00)
- Platinum: $2,966 (£1,970.84)
- Rose Gold: £2,879 (£1,913.34)
All things considered this is bargain-price territory for luxury goods designed to appeal to pop stars, Russian oligarchs and Saudi princes.
