Resetting Safari quickly

17 January 2013, 00:47

Just a quick tip today.

You can use the Reset Safari feature to clear the browser cache, remove sensitive browsing info, and much more. It’s on Safari’s application menu.

However, the dialog box is packed full of checkboxes that can be a pain to select one-by-one — very un-Apple.

The solution is to hold down Option (Alt) while clicking one of the boxes. All the rest will instantly be selected. Click again with Option held down and they’ll all uncheck. Give it a try. it’s a small but useful touch, and the kind of attention to detail that reminds me why I love Apple products so much.
