Instant bullets in TextEdit

Just hold down Option (Alt) and tap the Tab key for instant bullet points in TextEdit — although sadly not the Mail app, where this would be arguably more useful.
Tap Option+Tab again to create a further indented bullet. Yup, we’re starting to get into outlining territory here! Just hit Return on a blank line to deindent, or to cancel the bullet points.
To change the bullets, highlight them and click Format -> List, then select from the dropdown menu.
