Developers: Quickly create expedite requests for Apple's App Stores
31 March 2016, 13:56
It’s no secret amongst developers that it can take a long, long time for an app to get cleared for release by Apple in one of its App Stores. To its credit, Apple offers a potentially expedited process — provided you have a good enough reason.
Says Apple:
If you’re facing extenuating circumstances, you can request the review of your app to be expedited by completing the form below. Expedited reviews are granted on a limited basis and we cannot guarantee that every request will be approved
The trouble is that you’re a programmer, not a letter writer – right? That’s where Dear Apple can help. They offer template expedition request emails for all kinds of situations, such as the need to get bug fixed quickly, or matching an app release with a physical tour or product launch. All you have to do is type in a few details and the site will spit-out the prose, ready for you to copy and paste.
The templates were taken from real-life examples and have been tested against actual results leading to expedited review processes.
Give it a try! What’ve you got to lose?
