Apple TV adopters beware: Siri isn't everywhere

The new Apple TV is now available for ordering but if you’re outside of the countries listed below then Siri WON’T be available.

Instead, pressing the Mic button on the, erm, Siri Remote will open the Search app on the Apple TV.

Here’s the countries where Siri IS supported. Outside of these places (the big surprise being China), you’re going to have to sit on your hands for a while:

  • Australia
  • Canada
  • France
  • Germany
  • Japan
  • Spain
  • United Kingdom
  • United States
