Ever used Activity Monitor and wondered what the process is that’s eating 99% of your CPU resources?
Here’s a big list of OS X processes that you can check the hungry process against. Several malware processes are also listed, so you can see if your computer has an infection.
Rather than checking manually, you can upload a list of processes and have the site check them out for you. Unfortunately, I’ve no idea of the site’s trustworthiness so I can’t really recommend this. Some minor personal information could be uploaded as part of the list depending on what software you have running.
