Control your drone by waving your Apple Watch around
21 April 2016, 06:00
WatchToDrone is software that lets you control a Parrot mini drone using arm gestures. You will, of course, need an Apple Watch, which is able to detect the gestures via its accelerometer and send them directly to the drone via your iPhone.
What kind of gestures? Take a look at the video below. You might look like a neo-Nazi while out flying but there’s no denying this is very cool.
This is a Github project and little more than a working proof of concept at this stage, but if you’ve a Parrot mini drone – and you don’t mind it nosediving as you swat away a wasp – then give it a try!
