Apple might just’ve introduced its own $79 nightstand mode-compatible Apple Watch charging stand but Redditor woog32 is way ahead. His solution involves a throwaway drinks cup, about which he says:
IMO this is the best solution for my [Milanese Loop Apple Watch] using nightstand mode. Countless times the watch would fall over, or come off of its charger when you reach over to activate the screen. This way is foolproof. All I have to do is tap the bottom of the cup like a tiny drum.
Frankly, I think it’s genius and will be trying it as soon as I can get myself down to McDonalds to yoink a cup.
